of most recent accomplishments:
IT Manager: At intouch group, inc. in Berkeley, CA (2008-2009), the developers of ibrowz, a slick rss reader for Windows Mobile devices. Moved production environment to a fault-tolerant, co-located Citrix XenServer installation. Reverse-engineered and documented all aspects of the production and back office network. Served as release manager and assisted development and QA teams in troubleshooting and maintaining capistrano ruby deployment scripts. Expanded server and device network monitoring with nagios installation. Reduced voice/data expenditures by almost $2000 per month with asterisk VoIP server and a T-1/DSL combination for WAN connectivity.
Network
Architect, Lead Consultant, Project Manager: At the Bently Reserve, a state-of-the-art event and HD
video conference space in downtown San Francisco (2007-2008). Leveraged open
source technologies to reduce cost of expansive wireless network and phone
system by ~$70,000 and developed expertise required to implement
enterprise-level Polycom HD Video Conference bridging solutions and
Asterisk-based VoIP telephony system.
Cross-Platform
System Administrator:
Simultaneously supported Windows 2003 Domain Controllers, 20+ Red Hat/Fedora
Core Linux servers, Windows XP and Mac OS X workstations and network
infrastructure for Weidlinger Associates in Mountain View, CA (2006-2007).
Worked with a team of experienced Linux engineers to successfully integrate a
previously isolated branch office of engineers into the corporate directory
system. Stabilized the network environment without forcing end-users to abandon
the operating system of their choice.

Administrator, Sales Manager, Support Manager, Product Manager: HubbaDubba Internet Services:
bootstrap startup. Created a product called "managed internet access"
(2004-2007). Experienced the systems management as
well as the design and task prioritization demands of a
marketing-sales-support cycle which a SaaS provider or web-based business faces.
Evaluated
and implemented a suite of SaaS products utilizing bith open source technologies and
closed source products for Sales CRM, Support CRM, LAMP-based Content
Management Systems, Online Billing and Account Automation as well as web-based
Affiliate Marketing. Also gained experience working with offshore developers.
